Suunto Wing 2 bone conduction headphones deliver open-ear comfort, performance feedback, and hands-free control for active users. With LED safety lights, neck health monitoring, and rugged IP66 durability, they're built for rugged activities.

Suunto has launched the Wing 2 bone conduction headphones designed for active users. A variety of health and hands-free features can help users improve their health during their trail runs and exercises.

Bone conduction headphones work by transmitting sound through the bones near the ears, rather than through the air in the ear canals. This open-ear design allows wearers to remain aware of their surroundings at all times, while eliminating the annoying feeling of sweaty earbuds inserted into the ears. Dual AI microphones reduce wind and background noise during calls.

The company has designed the Wing 2 to hook around the ears to help provide a stable fit even during vigorous trail runs. The headphones are IP66-rated for heavy dust and continuous water jet exposure, designed for temperatures ranging from -20° C to 60° C, and made with titanium for durability.

Wearers can receive real-time feedback from the Wing 2 on their Suunto smartwatches, including the Suunto Race 2. Users can control the headphones touch-free using head gestures, while motion sensors provide neck movement monitoring and neck mobility assessments to help users maintain good posture.

The 1.23 oz (35 g) headphones provide up to 12 hours of runtime, according to Suunto, while connected over Bluetooth 5.3 connections using the SBC and APTX Adaptive audio codecs. Built-in LED safety lights can be set to flash with each step or when looking for cross-traffic before crossing a street.

The Suunto Wing 2 headphones have an MSRP of $179 and will be available in the Suunto store on Amazon in September 2025.
