Steam launch: New free-to-play action roguelike multiplayer game is topping charts after full release
Bapbap is developed and published by BAP HQ, and it was first released on Steam on March 12, 2025 under early access. It is built using the Unity Engine and is currently available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and can be played on Steam Deck (curr. $769.99 on Amazon). Now, the game has officially entered its 1.0 launch phase, and the same interest from the early access phase seems to be carrying over to its full launch.
Bapbap is categorized as a roguelike party, action, and strategy game that supports up to 7-player online matches. The game brings elements from MOBA and battle royale genres. It features a top-down perspective and skill-shot-focused combat. Players select a character, craft crazy builds, and compete in matches where skills and attacks rely on aiming and timing.
