Google's smartphones don't stay secret for long, and the case isn't anything different for the Pixel 9a. Ahead of the company officially announcing its new affordable phone, the device starred in many recent leaks, and now, accessory maker Spigen has officially showcased it fitted with Spigen's Ultra Hybrid clear case.
Unsurprisingly, Spigen's renders match with what the recent leaks about the Pixel 9a have already shown. But of course, the listing shows all the colors of Google's upcoming affordable phone in a detailed render. In case you're not caught up, the Spigen case listing and recent reports suggest that the device will be available in black, coral, off-white, and lilac colorways.
The Spigen case listing also shows somewhat of a flat camera island on the back, which is quite different from what Google has been doing with its phones lately. However, a minimal camera bump is a good thing as the flush design makes the phone less rocky on flat surfaces, and it makes the lens less susceptible to scratches when there's a protective case installed.
Pixel 9a's display is visualized on the Spigen listing as well, and it shows the chunky bezels of the upcoming phone. Just like what the past leaked renders have shown, the listing shows that the front camera placement hasn't changed. It's housed within a centered punch-hole cutout.
As for the specs, previous reports share that the Google Pixel 9a will sport a 6.28-inch OLED screen with an FHD+ resolution. Like the other phones in the lineup, it's expected to sport the Tensor G4 (128 GB Pixel 9 curr. $649 on Amazon), which will reportedly be paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
Camera-wise, the Pixel 9a is expected to feature a 48 MP primary sensor with a 13 MP ultrawide on the back. There's no official word on when Google will launch the phone, but the rumored timeline is within March.
