Sony has released yet another version of the Xperia 1 II, following the Frost Black edition that it announced in Japan a few months ago. While the Frost Black model was the first Xperia 1 II to feature a matte finish, Sony has returned to a glossy glass back for the new edition, which it is calling Mirror Lake Green.
According to Xperia Blog, the Mirror Lake Green model will launch in Taiwan on October 20, but it has already been showcased online. Like the Frost Black version, the Mirror Lake Green Xperia 1 II packs 12 GB of RAM, giving it an edge over the regular editions of the device. There is also 256 GB of storage, but that is the stock configuration for the Xperia 1 II.
It is unclear whether Sony will release this Mirror Lake Green model outside of Taiwan. However, we would expect it to fetch a fair amount of money if Sony decides not to. The company is yet to announce the price of this new model yet, though.
