Silent Hill: Townfall full playthrough leaks ahead of release, praising story over combat
Silent Hill: Townfall is not out until September 24, but the whole game is already on Bilibili. On September 20, a Bilibili uploader started posting a full story walkthrough of the first-person horror game. The playlist is split into 20 parts, and a thread on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours puts the total at roughly 14 hours. The upload had passed 62,000 views by Monday.
As we reported on September 20, an Italian YouTuber said they had received a PS5 disc copy early and posted around 87 minutes of footage across three videos. That creator praised the first-person immersion but warned that the complex puzzles might frustrate players who want constant action. The Bilibili upload, in comparison, covers the whole story of Silent Hill: Townfall.
The chapter names give a fair idea of the route. Players pass through a health service center, Clariantland Park, several parts of a CEG Building and an auxiliary room. There is also a typewriter puzzle, all set in the fictional 1996 Scottish town of St. Amelia.
The top comment under the upload says the puzzles are hardcore and frequent, sometimes needing outside knowledge, and that Silent Hill: Townfall gives weak direction about where to go next. The same viewer calls the story good but seems less impressed with the combat. They put the game at about 7.5 out of 10 and plan to wait for a discount. On Reddit, the original poster said the game looks puzzle-focused, with very little enemy variety.
This runtime matches previews from July, hinted at 10 to 14 hours for the main story and five endings.
Townfall comes from Screen Burn Interactive, the Scottish studio formerly called No Code. Konami and Annapurna Interactive are publishing it together. Silent Hill: Townfall releases on PS5 and PC on September 24, and Deluxe Edition owners get early access from September 22. Konami has not commented on the leak so far.
