MWC 2023 | Segway Ninebot Gokart PRO will be arriving soon
Segway has announced at MWC 2023 that the Ninebot Gokart PRO will shortly launch in Europe. You can travel in the go-kart at speeds up to 40 kph (~64 mph) thanks to a 4,900 W peak power motor. The company suggests that this power level exceeds 150cc, with up to 1.02 G acceleration and 96 Nm torque. You can choose from four driving modes; for example, Safety mode for beginners tops out at 8 kph (~5 mph).
A 432 Wh battery provides up to 25 km (~16 miles) of range on a single charge. The Gokart PRO can tackle inclines up to 26% and has a drifting assistant system. The rear tyres are made of a new thermoplastic elastomer for an enhanced drifting experience. Plus, a combination of electronic brakes and mechanical handbrake help to keep you safe. The go-kart has an adjustable steering wheel and frame length, supporting loads up to 100 kg (~220 lbs), suitable for people from 130 to 190 cm (~4 ft 3-in to 6 ft 2-in) tall.
The Gokart PRO comes with a detachable self-balancing transporter, and you can collapse the vehicle to make it easier to transport. The go-kart has an integrated Bluetooth speaker, and you can control the vehicle with an accompanying app. Customers in Europe can buy the Segway Ninebot Gokart PRO this Spring for €1,899. The vehicle is already available in the US, retailing for US$2,299.
