MWC 2023 | Segway E300SE Launch Edition powerful electric scooter announced
Segway has revealed the E300SE Launch Edition electric scooter at MWC 2023. The L3e-A1 e-scooter is powered by a 10 kW peak power motor with up to 200 Nm of torque. This allows you to ride at speeds up to 105 kph (~65 mph) and accelerate to 50 kph (~31 mph) in as little as 2.9 seconds. Five ride modes are offered, including an assist mode to help you push the scooter at up to 4 kph (~2.5 mph).
With two 2,000 Wh batteries fitted to the E300SE, you can travel up to 130 km (~81 miles) on a single charge. Customers can choose to purchase a third power pack, extending the range by 50%. The vehicle features ABS braking and a smart TCS (Traction Control System) to make your journey safer. A dual suspension system includes a hydraulic and spring shock absorber at the front and pressurized nitrogen and spring adjustable rear suspension. Plus, the scooter has an LED headlight capable of projecting a beam up to 70 m (~230 ft) away.
The integrated LED dashboard shows information such as your speed, range and battery level, with Bluetooth connectivity allowing you to view these statistics in the accompanying app. You can also use the app to remotely lock or unlock your scooter or track your scooter using GPS. The e-scooter has an HC420 alloy steel frame with a 780 mm (~30.7-in) long seat, underneath which you will find storage space. Other features include USB charging ports and a hook to carry belongings. The Segway E300SE Launch Edition electric scooter will arrive in Europe this Spring, costing €4,790 (~US$5,086) for the standard model.
