Samsung throwing in a free Galaxy A50 with every Galaxy S20+ purchased in the US
Despite the massive generational leap that the Galaxy S20 series offers over its predecessors, its sales numbers have been somewhat lackluster. While a part of it is due to the ongoing COVID 19 epidemic, their prohibitively high prices are also responsible for the general lack of interest surrounding the phones. Just a few days ago, Samsung promised a guaranteed 50% buyback price on all Galaxy S20 phones purchased in the U.S. The company just announced yet another exciting offer for its users today.
If you buy a carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S20+, you can get a Galaxy A50 with it for no extra cost. It is only valid for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon versions of the Galaxy S20+, though. Users interested in a carrier-unlocked version of the phone will have to dish out an additional $50 to get their hands on the Galaxy A50. It is a sweet deal, considering that the unlocked version of the phone is worth about ~$225 as a limited time only promotion on Samsung's website.
The Galaxy A50 is one of the company's better mid-rangers. It offers decent specs and holds up well against equally-priced offerings from competitors such as Nokia and Motorola. It is worth taking a look at if you're already considering a Galaxy S20+ purchase. There are a lot of other offers centered around the Galaxy S20 series on Samsung's website.
