The Samsung Galaxy A21s may have leaked in greater detail
Samsung had only launched the Galaxy A21 in early April 2020 for the US market. However, there were rumors of a second variant for this phone even before this event. The A21s is thought to have a novel processor called the Exynos 850, whereas that of the actual real-world phone has yet to be confirmed.
The well-known leaker Sudanshu Ambhore has now posted a more comprehensive list of specs for the putative new AXXs. According to this new leak, the A21s will, like its sibling, have a 20:9 HD+ display.
However, it may be 6.55 inches in diagonal length, whereas that of the A21 is 6.5 inches. Similarly, the budget 2020 Galaxy A has a 4000mAh battery, where its putative alternate form has 1000mAh more.
Then again, the A21s is now said to have triple 48+8+2MP rear cameras, whereas the A21 has quad (albeit 16+8+2+2MP) shooters. This new leak also lists specs such as 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, a fingerprint reader, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, a microSD card slot and a headphone jack.
In fact, the only truly severe let-down - even in terms of the entry-to mid-level space the A21s would probably target - in this hypothetical new phone is the inclusion of a microUSB port.
Then again, Ambhore does intimate that he has less confidence than normal in this leak as it has come from a relatively new source. Therefore, the nature (and existence) of the A20s' successor remains very much up in the air at this point.
