Samsung has now launched its latest Galaxy Tab S8-series slates in India, its new and extra-large Ultra variant included. They have debuted in a limited range of RAM and storage options in their new market. On the other hand, pre-order customers might get freebies that include first-party keyboard covers thrown in with their purchases.

Samsung touts its new Galaxy Tab S8 series as its most powerful, effective and versatile line of flagship slates yet, and not merely due to the new, 14.6-inch display option in the form of the top-end Ultra variant. Now, all 3 sizes have been unleashed on the Indian market.

Then again, the new tablet range has arrived at their latest destination with some caveats. The Galaxy Tab S8 and S8+ (or S8 Plus) have been made available as units with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage only, despite the presence of 256GB storage SKUs in other markets.

Similarly, Samsung has released just 1 12GB RAM/256GB version of the Tab S8 Ultra to the Indian market, even though it is available with 8GB or even 16GB of RAM elsewhere. On the other hand, all 3 variants have all their connectivity options in their new country regardless of configuration.

Accordingly, the Tab S8 starts at INR 70,999 (~US$946) with 5G, or at INR 58999 (~$787) without. The Tab S8+ is now priced at INR 74,999 (~999), or at INR 87,999 (~$1,173) for one with mobile data. Finally, Samsung asks INR 1,08,999 (~$1,453) for the flagship Tab S8 Ultra in Wi-Fi only form, or INR 1,22,999 (~$1,640) to upgrade to its top-end 5G version.

These tablets are available to pre-order from now until March 10, 2022 on Samsung.com/in or all major authorized retailers. The OEM has also announced the inclusion of a free Keyboard Cover, worth about INR 29,999 (~$400), with each purchase of any Tab S8 SKU during this introductory period. Additionally, there is the possibility of cashback on all orders placed using an HDFC bank card, as well as no-cost EMI options in some cases.
