As pointed out by a reader, the Geekbench listing appears to belong to the regular Galaxy Tab S11 and not the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. This news article has been updated to reflect this.
Edited article continues as follows:
Those looking for MediaTek silicon on Samsung devices often have to look at its lower-end offerings. The Galaxy S25 FE - initially slated to launch with a Dimensity 9400 - showed up on Geekbench with an Exynos 2400 instead. Now, we finally see a high-end MediaTek SoC on an equally premium Samsung product.
The Galaxy Tab S11 (SM-X736B) has shown up on the benchmarking platform with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+. It follows the footsteps of its last-gen counterpart such as the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which launched with a Dimensity 9300+ on board. This is evidenced by its 1+3+4 CPU core layout with clock speeds of 3.73 GHz, 3.3 GHz and 2.4 GHz, respectively.
It scores 1,430 and 5,312 in Geekbench 6.4's single and multicore tests, respectively. This is remarkably lower than the Dimensity 9400's average scores of 2,579 and 7,480 points, suggesting the device is not performing at its full potential. There's a high chance it is running on some kind of power saving mode. This Galaxy Tab S11 variant has 12 GB of RAM and runs Android 16.
Very little is known about the Galaxy Tab S11 series in general. Its Ultra variant is tipped to arrive with a slight battery upgrade, and as the Geekbench listing confirms, the small Galaxy Tab S11 will make a comeback this year.
