Samsung's Galaxy S25+ may not have been as exciting as we would've liked, but there is no denying that the premium Android smartphone is easily among the best that money can buy. Courtesy of an ongoing Amazon sale, the Galaxy S25+ with 256 GB of storage is now available for an all-time low price of just $799.
Our comprehensive review of the Galaxy S25+ paints an overwhelmingly positive picture, despite the Korean giant's perceived lack of innovation in the past few years. We praised the smartphone's build quality, performance, and its beautiful 6.7-inch 3120 x 1440 LTPO display, among other things.
Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy: A behemoth of an SoC
Performance, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, is particularly pleasing this time around. The SoC boasts single-core performance that puts the device in close proximity to Apple's A18 Pro, and multi-core performance that zooms past its arch rival by a substantial margin. GPU performance is equally impressive, with the S25+ obliterating its rivals, including Apple's best.
Camera performance is always a subjective matter, although it must be said that the S25+ delivers pleasing results from all of its three cameras, which include a 50 MP wide camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10 MP telephoto. Although it is no match for its pricier Ultra sibling, the performance is decent regardless.
All told, the Galaxy S25+ is an excellent overall package with decent cameras, outstanding performance, a great display, and 7 years of promised software updates. For those on the lookout for a well-equipped Android flagship with a large screen, the S25+ at its current price sure does seem to be a compelling value.
