Reviews for the Samsung Galaxy M35

The Galaxy M35 offers great value. It has an excellent display, stronger Gorilla Glass protection, good performance (and good cooling thanks to a large vapor chamber), great battery life, and a promise of four major OS upgrades. The design and camera quality are nothing to write home about. The display bezels are too big, and battery life is not as fantastic as it should be for a 6,000 mAh battery. But none of that is a deal breaker for the asking price. The positives outweigh the negatives, and you should give the M35 serious consideration if you're in the market for a new mid-range phone and have a limited budget.

The Samsung Galaxy M35 is a great phone. It has a colorful display, impressive front and rear cameras, amazing performance, and excellent battery life. It is also cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy A35, although both are very similar. Having said that, there is one very disappointing aspect: its design. The phone is heavy and bulky, and the build is all plastic, which makes it feel cheap. Additionally, the bezels on the front are large for a mid-range phone. So, if design and hand feel are not important to you, the Samsung Galaxy M35 is a good choice. But if they are, you might want to add some money and go for the Galaxy A35. Another great alternative is the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. If you can spend a bit more, I suggest going for it.

The Samsung Galaxy M35 5G is a great all-rounder that offers a good display, premium software experience with four years of updates promise, decent cameras and a large 6,000mAh battery. However, you will need to deal with the average performance and the lack of a charger in the box. Furthermore, the presence of bloatware apps and slow charging speed put it behind the competition. Despite these minor cons, the Galaxy M35 is a great choice for those mid-range device for casual tasks with a long lasting battery life.Other options to consider in this price range are the CMF by Nothing Phone (1), iQOO Z9s 5G, Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G and the Poco X6 5G.

Samsung Galaxy M35 5G is a pretty good pick for buyers who seek an affordable smartphone with balanced overall performance. While it lacks standout features, it delivers reliable performance with its Exynos 1380 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a decent 6.6-inch display. The design, though bulky, is functional, and the camera setup captures good-quality images, particularly in well-lit conditions. Battery life impresses with around two days of use, though charging is slower than competitors. Overall, the Galaxy M35 5G offers value for its price, making it a practical option for users who prioritise functionality over flair.

Samsung has been consistently launching some pretty solid phones in its premium line-up, as well as its mid-tier lineup. However, for some reason, it has been missing from the budget end of the spectrum. They only have the Galaxy M series in the sub-25K category, a segment that is saturated by the likes of Realme, Vivo and Redmi. With the Galaxy M35, Samsung hopes to shake things up a bit in one of the most competitive segments of the Indian smartphone market, and boy, do they have the offering to do just that.

To sum it up, the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G is a well-rounded device that offers great value for money. For me, the design, display quality, and performance are worth giving a shot under this price segment. However, the camera performance is satisfactory for casual usage. The only issues that I feel are the bloatware, occasional UI ads, and average low-light camera performance. But if you are looking for a smartphone under Rs 20,000, then Galaxy M35 5G proves to be the best option.

The Samsung Galaxy M35 faces competition from phones such as the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite (Review), CMF Phone 1 (Review), the Motorola G85 (Review), and so on. If you look at our benchmark results, the phone performed better than all of its competition except the Motorola G85. If you're looking for a phone with a better design, then the CMF Phone 1 or the Moto G85 could be a better choice. All of the phones I mentioned will also offer a slimmer and lighter build. You may not get the same battery life, but you'll get faster charging, while camera performance is mostly the same across the devices. If you're looking for a phone under Rs. 20,000 with a good display, simple design, excellent battery life, good performance with almost no heating issues, a good set of cameras, and brilliant software support, then the Galaxy M35 5G is something to definitely check out. It is a budget star!

For productivity-focused users, the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G can prove to be a reliable companion, especially if a long battery matters to them. I am also happy to see Samsung not making compromises in areas like software update cycle, NFC, and 5G, which might appeal to many customers. Gaming-focused users can consider the iQOO Z9, which offers a smoother performance. If BGMI is your go-to title, the Infinix GT20 Pro offers the best app optimisation. Even for cameras the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G is decent, but the iQOO Z9 offers versatility in low light. If you’re okay with standard camera performance but prioritise good battery life and a long-term Android update promise, the Galaxy M35 5G is a solid option to consider.

Samsung Galaxy M35 might not be able to outperform performance-driven mid-range smartphones. However, the plus point of purchasing this phone would be impressive camera quality, faster and more secure updates, and long-lasting battery life. All of those factors are looking great. Yet, we can’t overlook the shortcomings, which include slightly slower performance, slow charging, and average brightness support. There’s no doubt that the price will eventually drop to a certain extent. So if you want to save more, consider waiting for a couple of months until the price drops. Afterward, you can purchase the Galaxy M35. But for now, you should consider looking for alternative options such as Vivo iQOO Z9. It would be an exceptional deal if you are looking for a better performance. Still, we suggest choosing a phone according to your requirements.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

78.57%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
