Samsung's latest line of flagship wireless earbuds might not be complete yet in 2025, as the OEM is now believed to have a new variant in the works. They are thought to launch as a Fan Edition of the Galaxy Buds 3, and to boast a crowd-pleasing feature to go with that name.
The accessories have allegedly appeared in a (slightly grainy) render that actually hints at a design most like that of the Buds 3 Pro, which are angular where the Buds 3 are more bulbous. Accordingly, they might be a bit more expensive than the original Buds FE, which can be found for as little as $51.49 on Amazon right now.
Their case has yet to surface, although it might actually be bigger than that of the Buds 3. SGS Fimko has reportedly assessed it (which apparently goes by the model number EP-QR420) and found it to have a whopping 900mAh in capacity, compared to 515mAh for the Buds 3 series to date.
Each individual "Galaxy Bud 3 FE" (or "SM-R420") apparently has a more conventional capacity of 200mAh. There is no word on when this new set of peripherals might become official, although it is possible that they might launch alongside the Galaxy S25 FE in the near future.
