While the Galaxy S22 series may dominate the headlines, Samsung continues to work on its cheaper devices in the Galaxy A series. The middle child of that lineup, the Galaxy A53, has now leaked in detail ahead of its expected launch in a few months.
As revealed by Roland Quandt of Winfuture, the Galaxy A53 will sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED, with a centered hole punch. Under the hood will be Samsung's Exynos 1200 as previously reported. Camera-wise, the Galaxy A53 will feature a 64 MP main camera, aided by a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and two 5 MP lenses, and a 32 MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy A53 is expected to come with a minimum of 128 GB of storage. The model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is tipped to cost €460, which would be a slight hike on the €449 Galaxy A52s 5G. Other specs include a 5000 mAh battery, with 25 W charging. The Galaxy A53 5G is expected to offer IP67 certification and expandable storage as well. Design-wise, it appears to carry over most of the Galaxy A52's design elements.
