Samsung Galaxy A18 4G spec sheet leaks with a mysterious new Exynos chipset
A retailer listing for the Samsung Galaxy A18 4G (model number SM-A185F) has surfaced on Citilink, revealing a near-complete spec sheet for the unannounced budget device ahead of its official unveiling. The listing is tied to an Armenian SKU and lists 2026 as the release year.
The standout detail is the processor: the Samsung Exynos 1610, a chipset that has not previously appeared on any official Samsung page or in any marketing material. Geekbench listings for the chip's internal codename, S5E8365, surfaced in late April and initially led some to assume that it was simply a rebadged Exynos 1280 or 1330. Kernel source code analyzed by gamma0burst instead points to a distinct chip. While the CPU and GPU components are the same, Samsung has upgraded the ISP, which now supports 4K60 recording, as well as the video encoder and decoder, which support HEVC, H.264, VP9 (decode only), and VP8. The chip appears to be 4G-only, given its appearance in the A18 4G.

Beyond the chipset, the Citilink listing shows a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop-style notch, matching the A15's display specifications. It also lists 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage expandable via a hybrid microSD slot, a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W wired charging, and a triple rear camera system led by a 50 MP main sensor. The phone uses a side-mounted fingerprint reader, ships with Android 17, and includes Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3.
As with any leak sourced from a retailer listing or unofficial benchmark database, the specifications should be treated as preliminary. Final retail hardware and software may differ from what is shown here, and Samsung has not confirmed pricing or availability for the Galaxy A18 4G.
