A fresh Geekbench AI listing for Samsung's S5E9975 (Exynos 2700) shows the same 1+4+1+4 CPU cluster spotted in April, now clocked dramatically higher.

A new Geekbench AI listing for Samsung's S5E9975 chipset, which is expected to be the Exynos 2700, shows meaningfully higher clock speeds than those shown in the Geekbench 6 CPU listing that surfaced in April. The engineering sample keeps the same 1+4+1+4 quad-cluster CPU layout spotted earlier this year, but every tier is now running faster:

The April CPU listing had clock speeds capped at 2.30–2.88 GHz across all four clusters. This Geekbench AI entry is the first hard data point to approach the 4.3–4.6 GHz range in which Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8-series chips peak.

The CPU identifier string (implementer 65, part 3478) is unchanged from the earlier low-clock run, further tying this to the same test platform. That part number, 0xD96 in hex, corresponds to Arm's unannounced "Canyon" core, widely believed to be the C2-Ultra, the successor to the C1-Ultra used in the Exynos 2600.

As in the earlier Geekbench 6 leak, the listing carries the S5E9975 ERD tag, reports 10.67 GB of usable RAM, and shows the device running an Android 17 build, suggesting that the entry reflects the same test platform operating at unlocked frequencies, not a new hardware revision. As Geekbench AI evaluates on-device machine learning performance rather than general CPU throughput, no single-core or multi-core scores are attached to this entry, though the device info panel exposes the same CPU topology and clock data as a standard Geekbench listing. Samsung's Exynos 2700 is expected to use a second-generation 2 nm process (SF2P) and is tipped for the Galaxy S27 series, whose launch remains roughly half a year away.

As with any engineering sample, these clocks and any accompanying scores may not reflect final retail silicon. Arm has not confirmed the naming, and the identification rests on the part-number match rather than an official disclosure.
