Last year, Powkiddy introduced the RGB20S, a 3.5-inch gaming handheld based around the Rockchip RK3326. Since then, the Powkiddy RGB20S went viral on TikTok, which allegedly helped Powkiddy ship hundreds of thousands of units. Perhaps unsurprisingly, other companies have sought to capitalise on the popularity of the RGB20S, one being the unknown SDZiiER.
Sold on AliExpress as the D-007, the gaming handheld copies the RGB20S in most areas, including its reliance on the Rockchip RK3326. Hence, the D-007 should be powerful enough to emulate Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS and PlayStation games. Additionally, the SDZiiER D-007 also has a 3.5-inch display that operates at 640 x 480 pixels and a 3,500 mAh battery.
Likewise, the new gaming handheld has twin USB Type-C ports that flank a 3.5 mm jack and four shoulder buttons. In other words, the SDZiiER D-007 is the spitting image of the Powkiddy RGB20S. However, SDZiiER has repositioned the gamepad controls on the D-007. Theoretically, this could improve ergonomics, with the d-pad and ABXY buttons sat above twin joysticks. The SDZiiER D-007 is orderable on AliExpress now in Champagne, Emerald green and Silver colourways, all for US$66.76. Please see SDZiiER's AliExpress listing for more details.
