Amazon is offering a range of renewed third-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro devices at very attractive prices at the moment, with stocks seemingly dwindling quickly and in limited quantities. The retailer assures customers that renewed devices are carefully checked and refurbished, although minor scratches and bumps may be present. However, considering the generally high prices stated for a new iPad Pro 12.9 (2021; US$1,399 for a Wi-Fi model with 512 GB), it shouldn’t be too difficult to overlook a blemish here and there, especially at the prices Amazon is posting. The 2018 version of the tablet with Wi-Fi only connectivity and 512 GB is available for US$589 but only in space gray and presumably for a very limited time (six units remaining at the time of writing).

There are some great iPad Pro offers for those who want cellular connectivity, too. The currently cheapest SKU is the 64 GB model in silver for US$509.95, which is actually reduced from US$549.00, making it a little cheaper than the Wi-Fi only model. Anyone wanting a lot of storage can consider the 2018 Apple iPad Pro 12.9 in silver with 1 TB storage for US$749.99, but there is only a single unit reportedly left in stock. The most-expensive variant of this particular iPad Pro is more available (eight remaining) in space gray but is the Wi-Fi only model; however, for US$799 you will be the proud owner of a 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 1 TB storage and 6 GB RAM.

Considering the launch prices for the iPad Pro 12.9 (2018) ranged from US$999 (64 GB Wi-Fi model) up to US$1,899 (1 TB Wi-Fi + cellular model), it’s clear to see how great these prices are. Admittedly, this is for an almost four-year-old piece of tech that has been renewed, but the 3rd-gen iPad Pro 12.9 is still an impressive tablet that can perform as well as many current contenders and was highly praised in our thorough review, with the A12X Bionic SoC particularly distinguishing itself. Apple released the iPad Pro (3rd generation) in November 2018 and the series was discontinued in 2020. However, the fruit company still offers support for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch tablets, with both able to operate on iPadOS 15.6.1.
