RedMagic announces a US$20 discount on the new 6S Pro on its launch, but there’s a catch

With its Snapdragon 888+ processor, up to 16GB of RAM and next-gen cooling system that includes a physical fan, the RedMagic 6S Pro has the potential to be one of the most powerful Android decide on the market. Fans outside of its maker’s native China will soon have the opportunity to test it for themselves soon.

The flagship refresh will start selling via the brand’s international website from September 27, 2021. In the meantime, RedMagic has revealed that there is an online coupon that will take $20 off its price. This would reduce the cost of its Cyborg White or Black base models to $579, for example.

However, the coupon is not free: the interested consumer will need to pay $1.99 to secure one. RedMagic does not clarify what happens to this outlay on the coupon’s arrival to a buyer’s inbox on September 26, 2021, although it looks like it’s non-refundable.

Therefore, the total discount involved would be $18.01 in reality. Finally, the voucher can only be used in the US or Canadian versions of RedMagic's store. It would be interesting to ascertain if the brand is really popular enough to do well out of this initiative ahead of the 6S Pro’s global debut.
