Xbox Game Pass has quite a decent library of games that subscribers can pick from. It does, however, lack some big names such as Doom: Eternal. Another notable exception from the list is Rockstar Games' critically-acclaimed Red Dead Redemption 2. Xbox Game Pass users will be pleased to know that the title will make its way to the service on May 7th.
While Red Dead Redemption 2's PC port is less than ideal, it works like clockwork on consoles. It is undoubtedly one of the best games released in 2018, and one can easily get over a hundred hours worth of gameplay out of it. There's a little bit of everything for everyone ranging from aliens to ghosts to time travelers. Oh, and it looks brilliant too.
However, Grand Theft Auto 5 fans will be in for a bit of a disappointment, as the game will not be available on Xbox Game Pass once Red Dead Redemption makes its entry. It is but a fair trade, in the grand scheme of things. Do note that the game is only available for consoles, and will not be available on PC. If you want to get in on the action, Xbox Game Pass can be had for $1/ month for the first month, which then increases to $10 a month. You can find out more about the service and its benefits here.
