Realme has just unveiled its long-touted new MagDart system. This new cycle of products had been rumored to be headlined by the Flash, a new premium smartphone with this technology; however, it has revealed to be more of a concept device at this stage.
Its actual launch may have been a little strange as Realme already does have a 2021 flagship already: the GT. However, it seems this phone has been cut into the new MagDart system, with a new case that makes the device compatible with the new wireless-charging technology.
It involves stronger magnets than usual: not surprising in the wake of Apple's new MagSafe tech and the slew of clones it has sprouted since the iPhone 12 launch. Realme's new take on the idea includes an answer to the Cupertino giant's wireless charger for its latest smartphone has been introduced as a version of only 3.9 millimeters in height, and rated to charge a 4,500mAh Android phone at 15 watts (W) in 90 minutes.
Then again, Realme has developed some novel and innovative tweaks that set it apart from MagSafe. For example, MagDart does have its almost inevitable Wallet, although its version also offers a handy kick-stand and a vegan leather finish.
Its also slightly predictable MagDart Power Bank also has this finish - but also goes with an additional accessory that turns it into a charging stand at need. Additionally, Realme might have its finger on the pulse of many of its fans, in that it has also made a flip-up selfie LED light MagDart, which charges off a compatible phone using reverse wireless charging.
Finally, the MagDart Charger is the most powerful new accessory from Realme. It supports a top wireless rate of 50W, and does indeed come in a nearly cuboid silver aluminum housing, designed to contain a Mini Active Air Cooling system to manage heat. Then again, Realme did not include a pricing or availability break-down for any of these 7 new products during their launch.
