The new Razer Blade 15 is the slimmest 15.6-inch gaming laptop in the world
The Blade gaming laptops are getting a much needed refresh this year, as Razer decided to up the ante with 6-core gen 8 Intel CPUs and a few improved features. Razer is now launching the new 15.6-inch Blade laptop in five different variants, in order to better suit a wider array of budgets.
Without further ado, here’s the list of shared specs for all variants:
• Intel gen 8 Core i7-8750H clocked at 2.2 GHz (boost 4.1 GHz)
• 16 GB DDR4-2666 RAM (upgradable to 32 GB)
• Vapor chamber cooling system
• RGB backlit Chroma anti-ghosting keyboard
• Stereo speakers and audio jack supporting the Dolby Atmos standard
• Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 5.0
• 720p webcam with incorporated mic
• Connectors: 1x USB-C Thunderbolt 3, 3x USB-A 3.1, 1x mDP, 1x HDMI 2.0b

Here is the list of different specs for each variant, plus the prices:
• GTX 1060 Max-Q, 6GB GDDR5, IPS Matte 1920×1080 @ 60 Hz, 256 GB SSD - $1,899
• GTX 1060 Max-Q, 6GB GDDR5, IPS Matte 1920×1080 @ 144 Hz, 512 GB SSD - $2,199

As far as prices go, the five configurations might seem a bit pricey, but keep in mind that you are paying premium for the smallest casing on the market. Razer pretty much outdid itself and managed to squeeze the 15.6-inch systems in the previous 14-inch chassis. The GTX 1060 variants are only 0.66-inch thick and weigh 4.56 lbs, whereas the GTX 1070 variants are slightly thicker at 0.68-inch and weigh 4.73 lbs.
All new Blade 15.6-inch variants are available now on the official Razer web store.
