Asus made the 2025 ROG NUC available in China in late May 2025, and now, the company is taking pre-orders for the gaming mini PC in the US. Of course, only one configuration is available, and it comes with the Nvidia RTX 5080 Laptop GPU and Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX.
Just like in China, the US price for the mini PC is quite steep, with the said configuration being up for pre-orders at $2,849. It's worth noting that Asus has confirmed that there will be other configurations of the 2025 ROG NUC, with the base model featuring RTX 5060 and Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX.
There will be two more with Nvidia RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti, respectively. It's unclear when these configurations will be available and how much they will cost. Getting back to the config that's available to purchase, it pairs the Arrow Lake HX Core Ultra 9 CPU with 32 GB of DRR5 RAM and 2 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD.
At the unveiling, Asus noted that the 2025 ROG NUC has support for up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM, and while the storage support is capped at 2 TB, the system can be equipped with a PCIe 5.0 SSD (2 TB Corsair MP700 Elite curr. $189.99 on Amazon). As for the ports, the mini PC has the following:
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C
- 6x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A
- 1x Thunderbolt 4
- 2x DisplayPort 2.1
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 1x RJ45 LAN
For wireless connectivity, the mini PC has WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Among the other highlights are a compact chassis, a silent cooling setup, and support for five 4K displays. You can learn more about the 2025 ROG NUC from the spec sheet attached below.
