CES 2025 is in full swing, and Lenovo shows no intention of sitting on the sidelines. The consumer technology giant has introduced a plethora of new products across its myriad of brands, among which is the IdeaCentre Tower - a pre-built PC with a 17-liter chassis housing decently powerful internals along with an exterior design that exudes elegance.
However, be warned - the IdeaCentre Tower does not reap the benefits of Nvidia's RTX 50-series Blackwell GPUs but instead settles for last-gen Ada cards. The product can be equipped with up to a GeForce RTX 4060 Desktop GPU - a mid-range performer that is adequate, but nowhere near as powerful as its pricier siblings, let alone its Blackwell successors. An Intel Core Ultra 7 paired with 32 GB of memory handles the compute side of things, although it is unclear at this moment which exact SKU Lenovo is referring to here.
Lenovo claims a healthy array of connectivity options, including USB-A, USB-C, LAN, HDMI, as well as VGA ports. Keeping up with the trend of not sharing enough details, the exact number and specification of the ports are not known either, although the images do reveal a total of four Type-A, and a single Type-C port. All told, the IdeaCentre Tower may not cater to those who seek ultimate performance, but the system does appear to strike a worthy balance of affordability, aesthetics, and adequate performance potential. The product, as of right now, is expected to start shipping in June of 2025, at a starting price of $699.99.
