Pre-registrations now open: Candy Crush Solitaire coming next month

In addition to the Apple- and Google-operated services, no less than five alternative stores will host the launch of Candy Crush Solitaire. Already receiving registrations, the upcoming mobile game will launch on February 6th to bring together two iconic titles, namely Solitaire and Candy Crush.

Solitaire and Candy Crush Saga are coming together in Candy Crush Solitaire, a mobile title that's going to launch on February 6th. During this launch, the game will also check an industry-first achievement by becoming the first such piece of code to hit no less than seven app stores simultaneously. In addition to Apple Store and Google Play, Candy Crush Solitaire will also hit the following platforms: Amazon Appstore, Samsung Galaxy Store, Huawei App Gallery, Xiaomi GetApps, and One store.

King, the game's developer, is working with games marketing company Flexion to make this happen. The two have already teamed up in June 2024, when Candy Crush Saga made it to several alternative stores. According to Flexion's CEO, Jens Lauritzson,

"King has recognized that mobile audiences come from a more diverse range of markets these days, and we are thrilled to be able to help them reach those markets. Flexion has brought to the partnership the tech, experience, and expertise to ensure the ultimate in user choice."

Candy Crush Solitaire is considered King's "first expansion of the Candy universe into a new genre," according to the company's General Manager of Strategic Initiatives, Benjamin Pommeraud.  With origins in the offline space that can be traced back to the 18th century, Solitaire became popular as a computer game thanks to Microsoft, which included it with Windows since 1990. Candy Crush Saga launched in 2012 and is considered on of the most financially successful freemium games. Those interested in checking out Candy Crush Solitaire can already sign up via any of the seven stores that will host next month's launch, but will have to wait until then to play the game.

Those who haven't played Solitaire or Candy Crush Saga yet can certainly experience them separately for the time being. Although a rather straightforward game, Candy Crush Saga requires strategic thinking from time to time. Published in 2013, Candy Crush Saga Advanced Guide: Tips, Cheats, Secrets and Strategies can still be useful to those getting started with the game. The Kindle edition is currently priced at $2.99 and the paperback version goes for $6.99.

Flexion partners with King to launch Candy Crush Solitaire© simultaneously across platforms

Significant industry first will see game launch from day one across 5 alternative stores in addition to Apple and Google

London, 15 January 2025 – Flexion (NASDAQ:FLEXM), the games marketing company, announces a partnership with preeminent developer King to market new game Candy Crush Solitaire© in alternative app stores.

Flexion has had a partnership with King since June 2024 to market Candy Crush Saga© on the alternative stores. With this latest deal, both companies are breaking new ground with concurrent launches, taking them to the leading edge of games marketing.
