Deal | PlayStation 5-compatible WD Black SN850 SSD hits lowest price in 30 days, Western Digital crushes this deal with US$50 less
Although it now carries a "typical price" label that reads US$259 on Amazon, the WD Black SN850 SSD with model number WDBBKW0020BBK-WRSN retailed for around US$400 in the past. Available since mid-May 2022, this PlayStation 5-compatible NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 gaming-focused SSD features a heatsink and is now available for the lowest price in 30 days, so those interested can get it for just US$199.99. This also appears to be Amazon's lowest price so far, which makes Western Digital's own offer one not to miss.
While Amazon's discount cannot be considered a bad deal, Western Digital currently has the WDBBKW0020BBK-WRSN listed for a discounted price of just US$149.99. Although this is just US$10 down from a list price of US$154.99, Western Digital's price is US$50 lower than what the world's largest online retailer has to offer.
The list of highlights includes an endurance value of 1,200 TBW, sequential read/write performance of 7,000/5,100 MB/s, as well as 1000K/710K IOPS random reads/writes. Warranty-wise, buyers benefit from 5 years or the endurance value mentioned above, whichever comes first. Western Digital customers rated the WD Black SN850 120 times so far and the result is a decent 4.3/5. On Amazon, this lineup only has 20 ratings so far, and their result is an excellent 4.9/5.
