More than four months after its arrival in South Korea and not before Europe, either, the US market finally receives this color option for the Galaxy S7 flagships.

At launch, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge were only available in white pearl, silver titanium, black onyx, and gold platinum colors. Back in April, Samsung announced that a pink gold option could be chosen as well, but only by South Korean customers. Two months later, the pink gold finish became available for the Galaxy S7 family in Europe as well. Now, the time for the US market to get the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge in pink gold has finally arrived.

According to Samsung, "Pink Gold was chosen as it, like the other colors available for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, is a natural color that provides a sense of comfort. These hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces. In particular, the refined Pink Gold color scheme is intended to soothe and incorporate a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication to the smartphones’ design."

In the US, the new color option will only be available for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless for now. The handsets will be available via Best Buy with a $150 USD gift card included as well starting August 28th. Unfortunately for T-Mobile customers, it looks like they have to stick to the original colors for the time being.
