Philips has revealed three new Momentum 3000 gaming monitors, all with 27-inch panels. Called the 27M1N3200VA, 27M1N3200VS and 27M1N3200ZA respectively, the trio all offer 1080p resolutions, 165 Hz refresh rates and 1 ms response times (MPRT). However, none have HDMI 2.1 ports, so you cannot take advantage of the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X's 120 FPS capabilities. Instead, the Momentum 3000 series offers the following connectivity:
- 2x HDMI 2.0
- 1x DisplayPort 1.2
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 2x 5 W speakers
Hence, none offer USB ports, making them incapable of recharging a laptop over USB Type-C, for example. Equipped with IPS or VA panels, the Momentum 3000 series also offers 250 cd/m² peak brightness and 3,000:1 contrast ratios. All monitors also cover the NTSC and sRGB colour spaces, while delivering roughly 90% AdobeRGB colour space coverage too. Additionally, Philips has included height-adjustable, tiltable and rotating stands in all but the 27M1N3200VS. You can still tilt the latter's stand between -5/20 degrees, though.
Unsurprisingly, the 27M1N3200VS is also the cheapest entry in the Momentum 3000 27" series at €269. By contrast, the 27M1N3200VA costs €279, while the 27M1N3200ZA comes in at €309. Philips states that the 27M1N3200VA and 27M1N3200VS will be available to order later this month. In comparison, the 27M1N3200ZA will not be orderable until March.
