A real challenger for the OnePlus 8. The Realme is a high-powered smartphone with a quad camera system, crazy-fast charging and a more affordable price point. But it's got some self-made stumbling blocks to consider too.

The X50 Pro 5G is a real step up from previous Realme offerings. Its stellar build quality, top-shelf specs, and buff battery make it a true contender for the best budget flagship on the market. The catch? A poor set of cameras.

An impressive blend of affordability and performance that's hard to beat. Although not the best, the camera setup is versatile and the user experience is better than previous iterations. Speed is the real talking point here; with its Snapdragon 865 chip, 5G, UFS 3.0 storage and 65W 'SuperDart' fast charging being excellent inclusions. You won't find better for the price, not by a long shot.

Meanwhile, OnePlus’s hardware is more elegant, and its screen is bigger and better. If you want the most affordable 5G phone around, then the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G is a great shout now that it’s getting a little longer in the tooth. That said, if you’re after more power, better cameras, and faster charging and don’t mind taking a punt on a relative unknown, the gamble on Realme could well pay off.

Realme’s rise in the Indian smartphone market is nothing short of sensational, experiencing exponential growth in Indian and global markets. After a series of a mid-range smartphones, the company entered into the big league with a well-equipped smartphone – realme X2 Pro to battle the flagships killers.

The Realme X50 Pro aces everything it was designed to do, and that was the whole point of its creation, wasn't it? The X50 Pro is a cheap flagship, a flagship killer if you will, but nothing was spared in its making. Realme has once again shown us how a no-compromise phone can be made without cutting any (obvious) corners.

Although the Realme X50 Pro 5G looks like an upgraded version of the Realme X50 in the name. The two are two completely different products in terms of experience. The convergence between the two is only a product idea without shortcomings and no mistakes. It can be said that the realme X50 Pro is a high-end “bucket machine” in the Android flagship camp.

The Realme X50 Pro 5G is probably one of the fastest smartphone we have seen in this price point. The phone comes with a standard design language, but the display looks good. That said, this phone comes with the top-of-the-line specs sheet and the price point easily makes it accessible to a large audience. However, the cameras could have been better and need some improvements on the software level. The battery life is decent, though the 65W SuperDart flash charge is at disposal meaning that you need not worry about battery life with this smartphone. That said, if you have a budget of Rs 38,000 and want to try the latest chipset, then this is the right Flagship Killer, you are looking for.

The Realme X50 Pro offers 5G without making it a premium feature that you have to pay extra for. Sure, 5G isn't a practical reality in India yet, but you might be able to use it when traveling abroad and it can't hurt to be ready. We'd have had reservations if other features had been compromised relative to other phones at this price level, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

When it comes to the Realme X50 Pro, the device has a lot to offer. You get a sturdy and premium looking device, a 90Hz supporting display that offers a pleasing visual experience, a hardware powerhouse and a promise of fast charge — and that is most of what you could ask from a flagship device right now. Being a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC powered device that is also 5G ready makes sure the device makes its place in the future comparisons of flagship smartphones of 2020.

The Realme X50 Pro is a good phone but at the price it doesn’t feel as premium as it should. The phone offers smooth performance and captures great pictures — in daylight. But I wish the low-light camera performance was equally good.

After the success of the X2 Pro, Realme has made its second move in the budget flagship segment with the Realme X50 Pro. The phone has made headlines for being the first to offer 5G support in India. But it actually is so much more than that. And a headache for every flagship from every brand out there!

The Realme X50 Pro is shaping as a capable flagship killer and the unannounced OnePlus 8 seems like it's playing catchup already. It's clear Realme has put lots of efforts and the attention to detail is clear on all fronts. With the attractive specs sheet and aggressive pricing, we see bright future filled with a ton of sales.

To conclude, the Realme X50 Pro 5G is probably one of the finest smartphones from Realme. The smartphone is a first in many aspects, especially, for the company. It is the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, the first smartphone from the company portfolio to feature 65W SuperDart fast charging. But does that mean First is always the best? Just think about it!

Not unexpectedly, prices are lower in India, where the model of the X50 Pro 5G with the highest storage is available for 44,999 rupees (roughly $625). Realme says it will start selling in Europe in April. It's unclear whether these phones will be available in the US in light of the ongoing trade war, though Realme has signaled interest in penetrating the American market.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Qualcomm Adreno 650: Graphics chip for smartphones and tablets that is integrated within the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Qualcomm claims that it is 25% faster than the Adreno 640 in the Snapdragon 855 SoC and offers 50% more compute units (ALUs). For Android it should be one of the fastest graphics cards in 2020.
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
Qualcomm Adreno 620: Integrated (in the Snapdragon 765 and 765G) graphics card based on the Adreno 600 architecture. Supports DirectX11_1, Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.2. The 765G variant is 10% faster than the one integrated in the 765 and 20% faster than the Adreno 618 predecessor.

In addition to the processor cores, the SoC integrates a WiFi 6 modem (including 60 GHz mmWave support), a Hexagon 698 DSP (up to 15 TOPS) and a Spectra 480 ISP.
