The Oppo F3 Plus is no longer a secret as it was already leaked weeks prior to the official announcement of a March 23rd launch date. Even though the smartphone is not yet publicly available as of this writing, its performance results have already appeared on benchmark programs including GFXBench.
According to the source, the F3 Plus will carry the following core specifications:
- 6-inch FHD display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC
- 4 GB RAM
- 64 GB eMMC
- 16 MP rear + 8 MP front cameras
- 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm
- 185 g
The benchmark results also show a wide 120-degree front-facing camera and a large 4000 mAh battery pack with VOOC fast charging support. For comparison, the similarly sized 6-inch Sony Xperia XA Ultra phablet carries only a 2700 mAh battery pack.
Oppo has not announced an international release of the F3 Plus, so importing will likely be the only option for most users outside of Asia. Fortunately, the smartphone will support the commonly used LTE band 20 for functionality in most European regions if these leaked specifications are true. The Chinese manufacturer offers a wide range of budget to mainstream smartphones including the Find 9 and the F1s.
