Oppo F3 Plus launches in India

Advertised as a "Selfie Expert" handset, the 6-inch F3 Plus has a metal unibody design and comes with a 16 MP + 8 MP frontal camera combo. It can be pre-ordered in India for the equivalent of around $474 USD.

Oppo India has just revealed a new flagship for selfie lovers. Dubbed F3 Plus, this massive 6-inch phablet is the success of the F1 Plus, taking the front camera revolution from a 16 MP single shooter all the way up to a dual setup.

Oppo F3 Plus has the following specs and features:

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC
  • Memory/Storage: 4 GB RAM; 64 GB internal storage and microSD support
  • Display: 6-inch IPS multitouch with 1,920X1,080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection
  • Cameras: 16 MP + 8 MP front, 16 MP single on the back
  • Connectivity: 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, hybrid dual-SIM
  • Operating system: Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 UI on top
  • Battery: 4,000 mAh with VOOC fast charging
  • Colors: black, gold

This phablet is priced at ₹30,990 INR - roughly $474 USD. Pre-orders open today and will close at the end of the month. The F3 Plus is scheduled to hit Indian stores in April, but there is no information on its launch in other areas for now.
