According to Best Buy, the laptop looks brand new and comes with all the original parts/accessories. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16’s sale price is an incredible 51.5% off the US$1,649.99 list price (via slickdeals).
Aside from the processor and the GPU, The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 under discussion boasts 16 GB of DDR50-4800 memory that can be expanded thanks to a SO-DIMM slot and a 500GB PCIe NVMe SSD. The display on the device is a 16-inch panel with a 1920x1200 resolution, 500 nits of peak brightness, a 3 ms response time, and a 165 Hz refresh rate. It also covers an advertised 100% of the DCI-P3 and sRGB color gamut.
While we haven’t tested this exact configuration of the ROG Zephyrus M16, we did get to put a different Core i9-12900H and RTX 3070 Ti-powered SKU through its paces. The laptop impressed us with its strong performance, portable design, and good battery life. To give you an idea of what to expect from the ROG Zephyrus M16 config on sale, the Core i7-12700H is practically on par with the Core i9-12900H as both CPUs share the same core count. Furthermore, the RTX 3060 is, on average, 23% slower than the RTX 3070 Ti in 3DMark Time Spy Graphics benchmark.
In short, if you are comfortable going the open-box route, the ROG Zephyrus M16 could be an excellent choice, especially with the ongoing discount.
