Deal | OnePlus Open hits a tempting new low in Amazon Prime Big Deal Day with $560 of savings
The OnePlus Open has hit a new low on Amazon as part of the company's Prime Big Deal Day in the US. For context, only a few days have passed since the retailer discounted the handset to $1,299.99. However, Amazon has now dropped OnePlus' only foldable below $1,200 for the first time.
Specifically, one can now purchase the OnePlus Open for $1,199.99 with free delivery early next week. Alternatively, Amazon Prime members can access a further $60 discount for a 33% saving on the handset's current MSRP. Please note that this $1,139.99 price tag applies to the Open's Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black colour options, which both come with 512 GB of storage.
For reference, the OnePlus Open relies upon a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset to power its 7.82-inch internal and 6.31-inch cover displays. Additionally, the 11.7 mm thick handset finds itself with 48 MP primary, 48 MP ultra-wide-angle and 64 MP telephoto cameras, as well as 20 MP and 32 MP selfie cameras. On top of that, OnePlus has included a 4,805 mAh battery that the Open can recharge at 67 W; wireless charging is not supported, though. Please see our OnePlus Open review for more information about and our full thoughts on OnePlus' first foldable.
