Although it is not a high-end device and the new update is not the latest that OnePlus has to offer, the Nord N10 has just received the latest Android security patch, alongside a few other changes. According to OnePlus, the new firmware rolls out as OxygenOS 10.5.9, and since this is an incremental OTA update, everyone should get it in a few days.
Depending on the region, there are two software versions rolling out: 10.5.9BE89BA (EU) and 10.5.9BE86AA (NA). In addition to the latest security patch from Google, the new software also comes with optimized power consumption and improved network stability. For now, there is no word about OxygenOS 11 for the Nord N10, but it will probably be released later this year.
According to some of the users who commented on the OnePlus forums, there are still some bugs that have been lurking around for a while that this update does not address. The list includes problems with the pocket mode, broken services for AR, APN settings issues, and maybe more. If you own/use the OnePlus Nord N10, feel free to share your thoughts with the rest of us, as usual.
