Nvidia celebrates Doom: The Dark Ages' launch with an RTX 5090 giveaway

Now that Doom: The Dark Ages has officially launched for everyone, Nvidia wants to celebrate the milestone by giving away a shiny new GeForce RTX 5090. After all, it is an Nvidia-advertised title. The one-of-a-kind GPU is Doom-themed and comes with custom artwork that will definitely perk up your PC.

The terms and conditions, linked here, are fairly straightforward. Despite Nvidia's confusing phrasing that purports the giveaway is limited to Australia, it is global, with the exception of a few territories in places like the US, Canada and Australia. You need to be an adult, legal resident of the regions listed on the page.

To participate, simply comment #RTXON on this X post (or the social media platform of your liking, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Twitch) before 17:00 PST on May 22nd, 2025. Like previous giveaways, winners will be announced on a separate page. While Nvidia hasn't specified when it will determine who the one lucky gamer is, these things usually take time, so you may have to wait a while.

In our Doom: The Dark Ages review, we found the game to be an overall fun experience that stood apart from its predecessors in many ways. The combat is nothing like Doom Eternal, with the shield being an integral part of its gameplay loop. Performance-wise, its idTech 8 engine is a technical masterpiece, and while the RTX 5090 will undoubtedly let you rip and tear with the best visuals possible, the game is playable even on the Steam Deck.
