Deal | Epic Games Store announces new free Mega Sale event giveaways for May 2025

Epic Games is in the throes of another Mega Sale period, during which it discounts triple-A and indie games alike. As such, while the storefront will continue to provide free games on PC and mobile, it is running other giveaways simultaneously.

To that end, it has kicked off its latest Mega Sale by offering up a veritable bounty of what it describes as 'exclusive goodies'. As the teaser image below suggests, the giveaway concerns not just games but also services like Discord. Please note that none of the 'goodies' are complete games. Instead, they are in-game items where appropriate.

For example, Epic Games is offering TrimTrim wheels on Rocket League for free, as well as an exclusive Star Trek Online starter pack. On top of that, the new goodies bundle includes a Courbet in World of Warships, a French battleship and throws in a month of Discord Nitro for good measure.
