Nvidia was widely believed to show off its first-ever Windows-on-Arm laptop chip at Computex 2025. While that didn't happen, subsequent leaks mentioned its 2026-bound APU for gaming laptops that would launch with a MediaTek-designed CPU. Now, we get to see the N1X again, this time on a popular benchmarking platform.
The Nvidia N1X scores 3,096 and 18,837 points in Geekbench 6.4's single and multicore tests, respectively. Unfortunately, the listing doesn't reveal much in the way of its CPU configuration, merely stating it has 20 CPU cores with a base clock of 2.81 GHz.
Geekbench's back-end code reveals the CPU boosts up to 4.0 GHz and stays there for the duration of the test. Lastly, the system has 128 GB of RAM, and it appears to be running on an HP motherboard.
Performance-wise, the Nvidia N1X trades blows with AMD's Strix Halo-based Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (2,978/21,269). Apple's 16-core M4 Max (3,880/25,760), however, continues to lead the pack. Of course, the N1X in question appears to be a prototype, and its real-world performance will almost certainly be a lot better.
