Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 mobile GPUs unofficially listed online with their device IDs
It may be a while before we actually see the next generation of Nvidia GPUs, which is the GeForce RTX 50 series (also known as the Blackwell GPUs). If the online speculations are to be believed, the Blackwell graphics cards will be rolled out in early 2025.
So far, not much is known about the upcoming GPUs except a few rumored details. Blackwell GPUs may be more power hungry than the Ada Lovelace models, to give you an example.
To add to these speculations, @harukaze5719 spotted a list of Nvidia's upcoming RTX 50 mobile GPUs in this PCI device database.
Acording to the database in question, the upcoming Blackwell laptop GPUs would include RTX 5050, 5060, 5070, 5070Ti, 5080, and 5090. The post also mentions RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 desktop graphics cards. A picture of RTX 5080 was recently showcased by Moore's Law Is Dead in his YouTube video, while the RTX 5090 was allegedly seen in a testing video.
Now, the database is maintained by several users, and the entries often get numerous consecutive updates by multiple people. Even though it is a relatively credible source, these things are subject to change as the launch draws closer - so stay tuned for updates.
As mentioned, the RTX 50 series GPUs are not expected to release until early 2025. Nvidia has confirmed its presence at the CES 2025, where the company will reportedly showcase the RTX 50 series at long last.
