Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition looks just like an RTX 3070 in new leaked images
VideoCardz has managed to get hold of some images of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition, and the card looks remarkably similar to the RTX 3070 Founders Edition. However, the source here has described the RTX 3060 Ti in this instance as being “a bit more silver”. Some AIB variants have already been leaked, but there is no denying that Nvidia’s own design for the RTX 3060 Ti is both distinctive and attractive.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti specs include the presence of 4,864 CUDA cores, 152 tensor cores, 38 ray-tracing cores, and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. Base clock is a reported 1,410 MHz while the boost rate goes up to 1,665 MHz. For those that care about TFLOPs, up to 16.2 TFLOPs of shader performance can be expected. Maximum bandwidth is measured at 448 GB/s, which is the same as the RTX 3070. The RTX 3060 Ti should be released on December 2 with a price tag of around US$399.
As we previously reported, Nvidia has compared the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti’s performance with that of the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER, with the GeForce 30 Series card managing to be faster than the Turing predecessor. So not only does the new GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition look sleek but buyers can also expect a performance boost over a previous-generation card that cost US$699 when it was launched in 2019.
