Deal | Nova Launcher Prime now available for $0.99
Launchers are a staple for most Android users. The UI-modifying apps help in theming the device's interface, a much-needed feature considering the large variance in OS skins available in the Android market. Nova Launcher Prime, widely considered to be the best launcher for Android—and also the most installed—is currently on sale on the Play Store at a bargain price of $0.99.
There's, of course, a free, base version of the app—one that comes without the "Prime" tag. The free version doesn't have some of the features of the paid one, though, with functionalities like gesture support, unread count badges, and dot notifications all missing.
Some apps on the app store are overpriced but this, even at five times the current price would be worth it, especially considering the fact that the launcher has been known to offer UX features before they're even implemented in the OS itself. A feature like long-pressing icons for more options, for example, had been available on Nova Launcher for years before it became a stock feature on Android Nougat.
