Update | Nothing confirms it is "all about 2022" in announcing its next product event
Update: Nothing has just confirmed that its "(event)" will indeed introduce its "new product". The OEM has yet to specify whether it will in fact be a phone or not; however, this detail will indeed be revealed on March 23, 2022.
The company will also release details on a second round of crowd-based investing during this keynote, which can be streamed live from its website from 15:00 CET on that date.
Original: Carl Pei's new tech OEM Nothing has just indicated that it will hold a keynote - the second of its existence thus far - in 2022. In fact, its latest tagline now reads "what if we told you..." (no prizes for guessing what it's going for there) and goes on to indicate that this year had always been its focus from the beginning.
This relegates its ear (1) buds to the status of a "warm-up" act; however, the company could make up for that should it reveal its new product during its upcoming live-stream. This "truth"-themed Nothing (event) is to be hosted by Pei on the OEM's website.
There are already rumors that this device will be the brand's first-ever smartphone, a possibility now boosted by the appearance of a Snapdragon logo on Nothing's new keynote count-down page (then again, the platform in question could still be for another wearable).
At present, this timer has about 14 days left to go, and will thus run out on March 23, 2022 at 15:00 CET.
