Nothing has released a new version of the Nothing X companion app for Android and iOS users. The app has a new look and also adds support for CMF smartwatches.

Nothing has released a new version of the Nothing X app which is now available to download for Android and iOS users. The app, which has received a design overhaul as well as new features, is a companion app for Nothing audio products and wearables.

According to Nothing, the Nothing X app has a new look that makes it easy to manage devices and view health data. The app now also has support for CMF smartwatches. This comes following an announcement back in June that the CMF Watch app was being integrated into the Nothing X app. Nothing says the new update brings a more stable connection and also faster GPS tracking to CMF Watch models.

CMF audio products such as the CMF Buds Pro 2 (curr. available on Amazon for $59) already work with the Nothing X app, so they are not affected by the change. However, there are speculations that the integration of the CMF watch app into the Nothing X app may be an indication that a Nothing-branded smartwatch may be in the company's near future plans.

The Nothing X app is made for non-Nothing smartphones as the features of the app are already built into the Settings app of Nothing smartphones.
