Timex has announced two new smartwatches, the Metropolitan R and Metropolitan S. Created in partnership with Amazfit, one model looks strikingly similar to the Apple Watch. Both the Metropolitan R and Metropolitan S will retail for US$179 and will be available to order from June 10.

Xiaomi Redmi 9: Retailer confirms configurations, prices and details of upcoming global models

A retailer has confirmed the configurations, prices and details of the global versions of the Xiaomi Redmi 9. Available in two versions and three colours, the Redmi 9 will start from equivalent to US$147 while combining a giant battery with quad rear-facing cameras. Even a headphone jack will make an appearance.

Comet Lake flakes in latest Mindfactory sales data as over 34 times more AMD Ryzen 5 3600 chips are sold than Intel Core i7-10700K parts

New sales data from German retailer Mindfactory has revealed that 34 times more Matisse AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processors were sold than the Intel Core i7-10700K, which was the best-selling Comet Lake chip for this particular period. AMD took 87.25% of the sales share compared to Intel’s paltry 12.75% portion.

OnePlus halves the frequency of its Open and Closed Beta programs for OxygenOS

OxygenOS is OnePlus' well-received skin for Android. The OEM runs a beta program for this software, by which users can access new features in advance and offer feedback on the same. Now, however, the company has announced that it will reduce the number of these builds released per month.
