ViewSonic has announced the PA700 series projectors for the EU. The lineup includes the PA700S, PA700X and PA700W, designed for use in business and education settings. All three models have a peak brightness of 4,500 ANSI lumens thanks to a 250W light source, expected to last for up to 12,000 hours in SuperEco Mode.
The PA700 projectors deliver a maximum recommended image size of 300-in (~762 cm), and ViewSonic’s SuperColor technology provides realistic colors. The projectors have a 12,500:1 contrast ratio and produce over 1.07 billion colors. You can connect external gadgets via two HDMI ports, with the ability to power a dongle via USB-A. The PA700S has a native SVGA (800 x 600 px) resolution, the PA700W an XGA (1024 x 768 px) resolution, and the PA700X has a WXGA (~1,280 x 800) resolution. While the PA700S and PA700W models have a 1.94-2.16 throw ratio, the PA700X has a 1.544-1.72 projection ratio.
Other features include digital zoom, keystone correction and a built-in 3W speaker. You will shortly be able to buy the ViewSonic PA700S, PA700X and PA700W projectors in EU countries like the Netherlands, France and Italy for €459, €499 and €529, respectively. The gadgets are already available in the US, retailing for US$376.99, US$439.99 and US$470.99.
