OnePlus is set to introduce the first N-series smartphone in India on June 30, 2026. Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed a key highlight of the OnePlus N6.
OnePlus N6 battery capacity
On its official X account, OnePlus has revealed that the N6 will feature a large 8,000mAh battery. OnePlus claims the N6 has the “segment’s biggest battery,” with a footnote suggesting that the phone will be positioned in the INR 15,000 to INR 20,000 (~$159–$212) smartphone segment. Notably, the OnePlus N6 even surpasses the 7,300mAh battery of the company's flagship OnePlus 15 (curr. $849 on Amazon).
Leaked chipset details of the OnePlus N6
OnePlus has yet to confirm additional specifications of the device. However, a OnePlus phone with model number "CPH2955" has surfaced on Geekbench.
The device is expected to be the N6 and is listed with a MediaTek MT6835 chipset paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. This suggests that the OnePlus N6 could be powered by a Dimensity 6000-series chipset. The Geekbench listing also points to 6GB of RAM and Android 16. The device scored 788 in single-core and 1,993 in multi-core CPU tests. Separately, a leak has revealed the display details of the next-generation OnePlus 16.
