The Decathlon BTWIN LD 920E electric city bike is now available in various EU countries. Two versions of the e-bike are offered: a stepover model with a green frame and a step-through frame with a black finish. You can now buy the LD 920E in the Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain for €2,999.99; in Sweden, the e-bike retails for 37,999 kr (~€3,199).
The BTWIN LD 920, also known as the Elops LD 920 e-bike, was first spotted earlier this year. The bicycle features a mid-mounted 250W OWURU motor with up to 65NM torque and 600W peak power. The pedalling cadence is adjustable between 40 and 90 rpm, and you can choose from four assistance modes. An 802Wh lithium-ion battery allows you to ride with the engine for up to 150 km (~93 miles).
You can view information about your ride, such as your speed and remaining range, on the color screen built into the stem, with a USB-C charging port to charge your phone while you travel. The touchscreen can also be controlled via a joystick on the handlebar, and you can connect your phone to the bike via Bluetooth to view further information, including the GPS location of the bicycle, in an accompanying app. Other features include B'TWIN by TEKTRO AIR280 hydraulic disc brakes, Vittoria E-Randonneur Tech tires and a "HEADSHOCK" type suspension fork. It is unclear whether or when the new model could arrive in markets like the US or the UK.
