New Citizen Attesa Super Titanium radio-controlled watches launched with sapphire crystal

A total of 8 new models were unviled by Citizen Japan yesterday, including this Series 8 model, three Eco-Drive Exceed watches, and two analog-digital timepieces. The last two pieces of the puzzle are the new Attesa ACT Line watches, both scheduled for release on March 12 in Japan. The two references - CB3040-56H and CB3045-61L - come with compact proportions, Super Titanium construction, and radio-controlled Eco-Drive calibers.
Both models use Caliber H128, a light-powered movement with multi-band radio reception covering Japan, China, the US, and Europe. Accuracy is rated at ±15 seconds per month when not receiving a signal, and the watches include perpetual calendar, world time (24-hour difference), direct flight adjustment, and automatic hand correction functions. Power reserve is approximately two years in power-save mode.
The CB3040-56H is priced at ¥99,000 (~$638) and features a silver-toned Super Titanium case with Duratect Titanium Carbide surface treatment. The case measures 39.0 mm across and 9.7 mm thick, with a weight of 93 grams. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, and water resistance is rated at 10 bar. The dial uses a metallic finish with a structured pattern designed to resemble a single sheet of metal.
The CB3045-61L, priced at ¥126,500 (~$816), has a darker design. It uses the same 39.0 mm case dimensions and movement but features a black DLC-treated Super Titanium case and bracelet. The dial shifts to a deep blue tone with contrasting applied indices, which gives the watch a more pronounced visual identity without letting go of the angular case shape.
Both models include nickel allergy resistance, JIS Class 1 anti-magnetic protection, shock detection, charge level display, overcharge prevention, and summer time functionality. The casebacks are engraved with city indications for world time adjustment, and the watches are manufactured in Japan.
