The Casio G-Shock MTG-B4000D-1A watch has been shown in new hands-on images. This premium MT-G series model became available to pre-order in Japan at the start of 2026. It has since been on show at an event in the country, revealing more details of its design.
Photos of the new MTG-B4000D-1A (below), shared by Japanese site Impress Watch, showcase the watch’s industrial look. The images bring out both the hairline and mirror finishes of the silver colored stainless steel. These are found on elements like the bezel and the central section of the band, both of which catch the light beautifully. The pictures also highlight the contrast between the steel and carbon fibre sections of the strap, with the latter having a black marble-like quality.
The G-Shock MTG-B4000D-1A is a Triple G Resist watch with an upgraded Dual Core Guard structure. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective finish, and the model has a screw-lock crown. Features of the Casio G-Shock MTG-B4000D-1A include radio-control (Multiband 6), Smartphone Link via Bluetooth, and support for dual time zones. There are also tools like a stopwatch, a timer and an alarm, and the dial can be illuminated with an LED light. Plus, it offers Tough Solar charging and 200 m water resistance.
In Japan, you can currently pre-order the G-Shock MTG-B4000D-1A watch for ¥ 187,000 (~$1,185). It has also been listed on the brand’s international website, suggesting that it will be released in other markets in the future.
