New BMW i7 teaser pictures and technical specifications reveal an EPA range of 305 miles and a panoramic 8K display for rear passengers

With a projected EPA range of 305 miles and a striking design, the BMW i7 is supposed to become the electric flagship sedan of the Munich-based luxury automaker. An extremely wide 32:9 panoramic display with an 8K streaming resolution meanwhile ensures that passengers in the rear seats are well entertained.

It won't be too much longer until the world premiere of the brand-new BMW i7, which is scheduled to take place this April. The full-size sedan is supposed to be the new electric flagship of the German carmaker, as it is mostly based on the already unveiled design of the new BMW 7 Series. However, BMW has now officially released some key technical specifications as well as new teaser images of the highly anticipated BMW i7.

Said images are embedded below this article, and they for example show a gigantic kidney-shaped grille which mostly serves aesthetic purposes since EVs do not require such large radiators. This striking styling element of the BMW i7 also appears to be illuminated. Just as eye-catching are the extremely narrow headlights as well as the pompous panoramic sunroof, which is equipped with individually adjustable LED lights.

Additionally, a 31-inch panoramic screen with an 8K streaming resolution should provide plenty of entertainment for passengers in back seats of the BMW i7. The electric powertrain of BMW’s upcoming flagship sedan further delivers a projected EPA range of 305 miles, while the power output will surely exceed 530 hp since the German automaker has already asserted that the i7 will be the most powerful model in the 7 Series. We will report on the remaining technical specifications of this sinfully expensive EV once the BMW i7 is officially revealed.
